Corona Game Rules

Since we are comparatively big event of above-average duration, our rules of the game are stricter than you might know the them from your home milonga or shorter festivals. Let's all together do our best to prevent both frequency and intensity of possible infections - and by this minimizing the risk of a premature end of the camp!

1) No requirements concerning your state of vaccination
No mandatory face masks

We are happy that this is no topic anymore and each person can (and has to) decide for him/herself.

2) Try to not bring Corona into the camp
The stricter you avoid any risk of infection beforehand, the safer it is! That means e.g. in the week before the camp you better wear a mask in the supermarket and avoid bigger groups of unprotected people.
Please do not come to the camp if you have even the slightest symptom.

3) Mandatory Official Corona rapid test before arrival
All participants (also children) need to do an official rapid test before you start your journey to the camp (max 24h before arrival time). Citizen tests cost EUR 3.00. Send the test certificate per email using the subject "Corona test + your booking number + first name + name" to registration@phantastango.de. This e-mail must be with us before your arrival, additionally, keep it ready to present it at checkin when you get your wristband.

Evening guests also can only enter the milonga/ball with an official Corona test.
Thank you for your understanding that can only do rapid tests at the Pfaennerhall as an absolute exception since it's just too much extra work for our staff.

4) Daily self-tests at camp
Please test yourself daily until 8pm in presence of a self-chosen witness - we will countercheck your test protocolls.
We will provide high quality tests at non-profit price. We ensure cool storage (if you bring your own tests, they will become unusable if stored in a tent due to the heat!).

5) Isolation at the slightest sypmtoms
Extremely important: At smallest signs of symptoms please isolate yourself autonomously from all other people in the camp, wear a mask if you have unavoidable contacts and sign off from your duties.

6) You are Corona-positive, you stay home or travel home
That is the harsh (and sad) reality. For infected participants in the camp, we provide a small quarantine quarter in the studio above the office, where you can isolate yourself until your return trip is organized.

7) A little consolation patch
If you cannot start your journey or have to leave earlier due to Corona, you have a secure place at next year's camp. After this camp ends we will know if our financial situation allows us to credit you with a small part of the remaining camp fee as a deposit for the next camp.

8) Fouls lead to sending off!
To make that quite clear: These rules apply to everyone and are in the interest of everyone who wants to feel comfortable and safe in the camp. That's why we consider it a serious foul if you do not follow it, which will result in your expulsion from the camp. Let's work together for a great and save time.

Eventually, all these rules may become more relaxed or even stricter depending on the current situation. We also ask for your understanding that due to future developments program modifications may be necessary.

Our feeling tells us: We'll have a great camp!
See you all soon, Mirjam, Andreas, Sandra & Holger!
