Murat Erdemsel & Sigrid Van Tilbeurgh
Murat is gifted with an insightful, thorough and analytical
understanding of the dance. He started his journey with tango in
Istanbul, 1997.
Widely known for his strong lead and musicality,
Murat's background in fine arts and music provides him with the perfect
blend of senses for the movement of bodies through time and space.
In his philosophy of teaching Murat strives to offer students valuable tools in order to enable them to take control of their own personal growth. He is warm, attentive, entertaining and accessible to students. The style of his teaching is holistic in approach and clear in method. He successfully combines technical and sensory exercises with fundamental concepts that lead to all the challenging possibilities of improvisation and expression. As demonstrated in his own dance, he focuses on the origin of movement coming from an agreement in the embrace and has created a unique brand all his own characterized by musicality, playfulness, a balanced partnership and an awareness of social etiquette.
Murat has influenced large numbers of
dancers with his unique perspective of dance and instruction. He
followed his parents path to art school. He established himself as an
artist before he arrived in the US to complete his Masters Degree in
Painting. His art works were sold to collections in Europe and in the
States.

Already as a child, Sigrid was interested in dancing. So she startet out with ballet, later turned to contemporary dance. In southwest France, her home region, she discovered Tango in 1998. In 2001 she danced her first show and started teaching one year later. In April 2004 she went to BsAs for one year and focussed very much on Tango. There, she practiced a lot and even taught at the Confiteria Ideal. After her return her international career as a dancer and teacher startet off. After staying in Paris and Berlin, she lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, since 2013.
Not only loves she to push movements to the extreme, she also does thes in a perfect form. For her it is important that every movement goes through the entire body from head to toe.
In her teaching Sigrid pushes the students to their limits that they
can also go beyond. She uses a figurative language to explain the
positions and sensations of the body. For her a refined body perception
is very importang to finally free your dance from technique and get
more toward mere enjoyment of the dance. Carried by her experience as a
contemporary dancer, she analyses every movement and explains as well
basics as intricacies to all who are not trained dancers.
Sigrid is a great fan of the dissociation, a body torsion at waist
level allowing to point chest and pelvis into two different directions,
as an important tool for a smooth lead and a relaxed dance. She
encourages her students, especially women, to dance more active rather
than just to follow. Her motto: "I'm not following my partner, I dance
with him.... and follow the music."

put under Tango's spell. His teaching is fuelled by both his lifelong

the 'Monster Orchestra' of 'Tango de los Muertos' and together they
produced a CD with hes arrangements and transcriptions. Currently,

Claudia Kratzheller is a freelance (Tango) dancer, yoga instructor, choreographer and communication coach.
For many years she trained professional dancers in the Netherlands and
Duesseldorf, Germany, in release technique and groundedness. Since 2008
she is a 'Centered Yoga Teacher' for the Dona Holleman method. Being
also a coach for movement and voice, she is part of the international
team of Executive Performance Training and works with managers to
improve their authenticity and body language.
Claudia teaches Argentine Tango (e.g. at the Academia de Tango
Amsterdam), modern dance and improvisation, but also led rehearsals at
Tango dance productions. Together with Ezequiel Sanucci & Lydia
Mueller, she was involved in the research project 'Tango Lab' in 2010
produced by Danswerkplaats Amsterdam.
In the last few years she has been especially interested in the interface between Contact Improvisation and Argentine Tango: Playful softness, devotion, spontaneity in contact, centering, presence and controlled 'explosive' movements in Tango...
"For me dancing is like breathing or eating.... vital! Dancing,
especially in Tango, I can directly feel myself and my partner, too -
an insight into the soul without many words."
In the Contact Tango classes we focus on musical sensibility, stability
of the axis and the creative interplay with leading and partner.
